Penn Station Access is an MTA project to bring Metro-North to Penn Station and build four new stations in the east Bronx. Once completed, some New Haven Line trains will travel over Amtrak’s Hell Gate bridge and into Penn Station.
As part of this project we’re building four new state-of-the-art, ADA compliant Metro-North stations: Co-op City, Morris Park, Parkchester-Van Nest Station and Hunts Point Station. These new stations will bring rail service to underserved communities with fast connections to the west side of Midtown Manhattan.
